Having a gluten detection dog changed my life. Through this process I have learned enough to make adjustments in order to improve my health.
To give you a better understanding- when I touch any dogs face after they eat gluten I start to react. My reactions when gluten comes in contact with my skin include my eyes crossing, my hands generally shake, and within 15 minutes I will have to be quickly in a bathroom.
Cross contamination is a real problem in our society. Having celiac is a different way of life but with my gluten detection dog so many of my symptoms have tremendously improved. Gluten detection dogs help when cross contamination happens, when companies decide to not list that gluten is in a pill, and when companies claim to be selling you a gluten free product but you still get sick.

"Hey guys, my name is Echo. For those of you that don't know me I am a gluten detection dog. My job is fun and exciting, we just got finished checking two different items! I check hot and cold foods, medication, wrappers, silverware, and more. What you aren't able to see are the small parts per million that I am able to smell. Once I find the gluten, Erica and I get to have a party! Come back later to see more about me!"
Echo is an awesome dog who is near and dear to my heart! He has a heart to work and enough compassion for the whole neighborhood! Echo loves working!
